Administrative/Purchasing Assistant

The job -

This position will be responsible for supporting purchasing and sales activities, as well as assisting our company President. Essential duties include:

-Obtain quotes from vendors
-Place and track orders
-Monitor pricing and assist with bids
-Update various spreadsheets, online services and website
-Address customer questions/concerns
-Provide backup to Sales Administrative Assistant as needed
-Other duties and projects as needed

Requirements -

-2+ years related work experience
-Purchasing experience strongly preferred
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
-Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Strong Internet research skills
-Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
-Ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors and customers

Inside Sales Person

Unlimited Income and Growth Potential

This key Inside Salesperson will sell New and Refurbished, Compaq, Sun, Cisco and Enterasys, Servers, storage and networking products to end users and government prime contractors. We are seeking an energetic, motivated and committed individual contributor to join our small team. This opportunity requires persistence, strong negotiating and customer service skills and an understanding of upgrade paths in one of the above product lines. Requires solid telemarketing skills and experience. Must be a team player who is able to bond with customers, solve customer problems, conduct needs assessments and close sales. Requires a minimum of two years sales experience in a technology area, SUN or Cisco experience, and a demonstrated ability to meet sales goals. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication skills a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business via outbound calls
• Manage existing accounts and prospect lists
• Generate quotations, establish relationships and resolve customer issues
• Survey customers regarding their business needs and product requirements
• Generate monthly sales and profitability

Requirements:

• Previous Cisco or SUN experience
• Prior experience working with VARS, distributors, leasing company, broker/dealer, end users
• Existing account base is a strong plus
• College experience preferred
